Team Sunshine on a roll as they defeat Moosai Sports 121/117

No game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) could have been more exciting than last Sunday’s 12-table All Fours tournament between Team Sunshine and Moosai Sports played at the home of Team Sunshine in Five Rivers, Arouca.

Before Sunday’s match, these two teams had met on six occasions, and the result was 3/3 so last Sunday’s match comprising of 121 Bullseyes was the real decider. Not even the Thrilla in Manilla of October 1, 1975, between Muhammad Ali (Team Sunshine) and Joe Frazier (Moosai Sports), could have produced more excitement. At half-time, the score was 60/59 in Team Sunshine’s favour with Moosai Sports leading 24/13 in the Hang Jacks. However, following the meal and team talks on both sides, the tournament resumed and neither CSK nor KKR of the IPL nor not even Mumbai Indians could have created more tension. 77/75 - Team Sunshine; 91/90 Team - Sunshine; 100/99 - Team Sunshine; 111/109 - Team Sunshine and 119/117 was again Team Sunshine. And when Jah-Lion and Kishan of Team Sunshine brought in the 120th winning game with Roger and Sunil of Team Sunshine, bringing in the 121st victory it was all over for Moosai Sports bar the shouting. Team Sunshine led by Newton and Clint could have been heard several miles away singing “When ah dead, bury mih clothes” and “There is a brown girl in the ring, tra la la la”. Moosai Sports, however, was not humiliated as they won most of the other prizes at stake inclusive of More Hang Jacks 44 to Team Sunshine 33. Team Sunshine will be taking an All Fours holiday on Easter Sunday, April 21st but on April 28th will be playing against North West Construction (NWC) at the Palace and on Sunday, May 5th will be journeying to Toco to play against Terry Rondon’s team. All members are gearing up for these two matches.
